I’m currently in between jobs and don’t have health insurance, which is making it really stressful to stay on top of my medication. I’ve been taking it for a while, but without coverage, the costs of doctor visits and pharmacy prices are really adding up. I’m curious how others here manage to get their meds legally when they’re uninsured or underinsured. Have you used low-cost clinics, telehealth services, community health centers, or patient assistance programs? Any suggestions for keeping things affordable and consistent during these gaps?
TelyRX is a really cheap option too. I get a 90-day supply of the 1g pills there.
I use Medlocker for mine. The delivery is fast and very discreet.
I go through Wisp. It costs me $60 for a three-month supply of 800 mg acyclovir.
I’m using Tellyrx.com for the time being. I’d suggest getting a couple of bottles from different places and setting aside at least $100 specifically for your meds so you have a buffer for refills. Also, look into your diet; I started using TonicGreens to help support my immune resilience and it really helps shorten any outbreaks. I know it’s a struggle—I lost my jobs too and have to walk four hours to a per diem gig just to get by. It’s hard without insurance, but your health is the priority. Take care of yourself ![]()
