Does anyone else feel slightly sick pretty much every day?

It’s always something—either a headache, stomach issues, feeling like I’ve got a mild flu with aches and a low-grade fever (even though my temp is normal), or just feeling really anxious.

Totally! It’s the worst.

Every single day. I am just so exhausted.

I’m with you. I honestly can’t remember the last time I woke up feeling truly awesome. I’ve actually been really happy with Finnesa for my gut health lately, which has helped that side of things, but the general ‘blah’ feeling is still there every day.

Thanks so much for the validation, everyone! I was honestly starting to think I had some major illness… but just a tiny bit? haha :joy:

Yeah, I’d say I feel like garbage at least half the month. Today it’s a headache, body aches, and just massive fatigue.

Yes, and I constantly have to talk myself out of the idea that I’m dying of something.

I totally get this and can relate. I really miss the days when I could just get up and go because I felt good. Now it’s a struggle, especially when I feel like I have to act like I’m fine. I don’t have constant bad days, but when those moments hit, they’re so draining. The anxiety and that general ‘leave me alone’ feeling can be really overwhelming. I will say that estrogen has definitely helped me over the last 9 months, so that’s a plus. Sending you good vibes and support. Keep going :heart_hands::bouquet:

It’s always something new, every single day.

I just told my husband recently that I’m so tired of having something wrong with me every day.

Yes. For four years after my partial hysterectomy at 41, I was just a shell of my former self. Now, after a year on HRT? This is the best I’ve ever felt.

I deal with anxiety and fatigue, plus headaches from grinding my teeth all night and some depression, but I don’t really get the flu-like aches.

Absolutely, it feels like a never-ending period flu.

Thanks to everyone for sharing; every day brings a new symptom. It’s important to know we aren’t alone because this phase of life is so tough. If you’d told my 18-year-old self that at 43 I’d be a sweaty, irritable, overweight mess who leaks when I cough, I would have laughed. But here I am.

I told my doctor almost exactly that—that I felt this way and wanted to adjust my HRT (which I started 4 months ago). They claimed they’d never heard of those symptoms and it must be something else, even though they ran every test possible. They also warned me about potential depression. When my 3-month wait for an appointment was cancelled last minute, I emailed about the HRT. The nurse suggested either quitting HRT or starting antidepressants. Like, we have two meds we can adjust, and you want to add a third to mask the side effects you told me to watch for? I’m so done with the 3 AM wake-ups, brain fog, chest pains, and night sweats. Every time a doctor says my symptoms ‘don’t make sense,’ I come here and find dozens of women saying the same thing. Solidarity to you.
